Samurai Talabahan - Iloilo

Definately, one must try this talabahan place once you visit Iloilo city. Aside from the staple talaba, they offer great tasting dishes. The place is accessible because it is located on Iloilo’s widest highway.

In my latest Iloilo trip, i dined here not just once but twice. That itself already suggest that their food will leave a good impression in your palate. They specialize on seafoods. Talaba is their best seller. Accordingly they source it from the rich coasts of Dumangas and nearby areas. They are the masters of oysters, they can bake, steam or grill them, whatever suits your taste. They have also in display fresh seafoods that you can choose and ask them to cook it for you. The staff are also very polite and attentive. However, the place is not airconditioned so you will definitely sweatout and the order takes a really long long time. It is also located beside a major avenue making it noisy.

It's located in a new trendy place in Ilo-ilo. Their specialty is talaba which is really out of this world. Make sure to order their baked talaba/oysters. They have the biggest and quality oysters I've ever tried. You may want to consider or not, their sizzling shredded crab meat since I understand that they cannot totally separate the shells from the crab meat. You will then have to spit bits and pieces of the shell. But what the heck, you'll know that it's genuine crab meat and not a substitute. Overall, it was a good experience in Ilo-ilo and the price is reasonable. Not to mention, we ordered a lot for our big group but the food came out fast! They seem to be always ready. A big factor for me!

Accessible as it is along the national highway. this place serves tasty seafoods menu. they have two. kinds of dining area, air-conditioned and non air-conditioned room, there is an additional payment if you dine in the air conditioned room. the place is always full especially during dinner but you can do prior reservation. friendly and accommodating staff.
