Chika-an - Iloilo

I always have a great time dining here. There's a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and I'm particularly fond of the Smoked Longaniza. The staff is friendly as well! The ambiance is exquisite, and you'll find cozy and comfortable seating to enjoy your meal.

I had breakfast at this restaurant, which offers a variety of beloved Filipino breakfast favorites. I tried the bangus meal, which came with sunny-side-up eggs, rice, and coffee. Unfortunately, the fish was quite oily, and I found myself needing to dip each bite in vinegar to mask the greasy flavor. My partner enjoyed the longganisa, especially with his scrambled eggs. At P159 per meal, it was a great deal. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The walls were adorned with framed photos of local attractions, adding a nice touch to the ambiance.

I just tried breakfast meals. The food ok but took too long to serve (about 40 minutes) despite the small amount of customers and this is really not good because people are usually on a rush in the morning.

Moderate expensive for meh taste. Like this eggplant on the photo costs more than 100 with the taste nothing even near one you cook at home. Utensils are dirty (with dried foods from previous use). Spoon and fork are so cheap they bend easily. Many canteens have far better utensils. It is difficult to get the attention of the staff; You have to wave to them and stand up and approach them when you need something.

The wait for our order has been about an hour now, and we've been waiting for roughly 40 minutes already! I'm so frustrated! The waitstaff doesn't seem to be attentive in their area.
