Steak N Egger - Illinois

Love this diner! Super cute charm with great homemade food! The omelet I had was delicious yet HUGE, so even had half for another meal in a doggy bag to go. Will be back for sure!

Had a T-bone stake cooked medium. It was pretty tough meat to cut and chew. But the eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly.

If you sit at the bar, you can watch your food being made. The restaurant was clean, as was the bathroom. The service was pleasant and prompt. I really can't find anything bad in the restaurant except for the small dining area. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was fresh and juicy and the fries were hot and crispy. I could eat here again.

Love this place. Always the same great people. The waitress is awesome the cook is awesome.

Coffee at the table in styrofoam cups in 2022? Pancakes have most a bit of their mojo, and prices have gone up quite a bit.
