Kashmiri Aroma - Ilkley

I was recommended this restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful discovery on our way home from Leeds. The friendly staff greeted us warmly and escorted us to a lovely table. The atmosphere was pleasant, and it wasn't crowded at all for a Thursday evening at 7:30. We enjoyed some poppadoms while reviewing the menu, which was quite a treat in itself. I opted for the lamb and spinach curry, and it was exceptional. Even our 14-year-old said his curry was the best he’s ever had. Overall, the entire experience was fantastic and first-class. I only wish it were closer to home!

My first visit was a fantastic experience! This warm and welcoming restaurant has helpful and professional staff. The dish we ordered was expertly prepared right at our table. The interior is beautifully fresh, with a lovely view of the outside world. The table was perfectly set; I couldn't help but notice the crisp white linens and the sparkling clean glasses, which added special touches to the atmosphere. The employees took great care of us, and we were served promptly. The dishes were aromatic, the meat was tender, and everything was freshly cooked. You can choose between mild or spicy options to suit your taste. We opted for the à la carte menu, but there was also a buffet available. My mango lassi was delicious, and the bar area offered a fantastic selection. This is a very quiet, peaceful restaurant, perfect for enjoying a meal with the whole family. There's ample parking, which is a definite plus. My unexpected visit turned out to be a delightful experience, and I will definitely be returning. 10/10!

The restaurant boasts a bright and airy atmosphere, beautifully decorated to ensure a relaxing experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and hardworking, even though they were quite busy. The drink selection was excellent, with a variety of wines, beers, and soft drinks, although I found the alcohol-free options to be somewhat overpriced. For our meal, my family and I opted for the Sunday buffet menu. The appetizer selection was good, featuring the typical offerings found in Asian restaurants, though I found some items a bit lacking in heat. The restaurant was quite crowded, which made it challenging for the staff to keep up with demand, resulting in some wait times for customers. Unfortunately, the main course selection was limited, especially compared to the extensive buffets we’ve experienced at restaurants in Manchester. There were just a few options: a medium lamb dish, a medium chicken dish, a mild chicken with pineapple, and two vegetarian choices. I tried the lamb and the medium chicken, both of which were delicious, accompanied by pilau rice and a small naan. My wife enjoyed the mild chicken and a vegetarian dish that she really liked. Despite the limited choices, we felt satisfied with our meals. One highlight was the impressive dessert display, featuring fresh fruits, various cakes, jelly, and traditional Asian sweets like gulab jamun and ras malai. The restaurant thoughtfully labeled each dish, from appetizers to desserts, with allergy information, which was a great touch. Overall, my experience was more positive than negative, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine in the area. We plan to visit again, although I think we would prefer to order from the main menu rather than the buffet next time.

Our popular Indian restaurant. travel by halifax regularly worth the trip. friendly fast service excellent eating. never disappointed. often quiet on Sunday afternoon, when we go, what is nice for us. but still a very nice atmosphere. Try it!

My boyfriend and I have visited Kashmiri numerous times over the past 12 months and it has quickly become one of our favourite places to visit together. The food has always been delicious. However, more importantly the service has always been absolutely superb! I would like to personally mention Naeem who is always delightful every-time we have visited! Not only has he provided extremely useful pointers and suggestions, he has gone above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable evening whilst visiting the restaurant. No matter what the quality of the food is like, I would never go back to a restaurant if I felt the customer service was lacking. Thankfully neither is a concern at Kashmiri and its nice to know you can always rely on a wonderful atmosphere and great food.
