El Faro - Ibiza

We tried to get a menu without success... maybe we did not rich enough to be served bu them... walk on and go to a more friendly place!!!

We stopped here a few evenings ago for a family meal, we were initially drawn in by the aesthetics of the dining area. We ordered drinks and began to look at the menu and we’re immediately put off by the prices of all the meals you can order pretty much anywhere on the island. The Waiter came with our drinks- 2 beers, 3 Malibu and cokes, a water and a Diet Coke. Both beers were flat and the Malibu had been watered down, we could tell this because the coke had yet to be poured into the drink so was tasted straight from the glass. The waiter then asked for our food order which we declined and informed them we were only staying for drinks, he then ignored us and walked off. A few minutes later a lady came over and asked the same question at which point we asked for the bill and explained we wouldn’t be paying for the 2 full pints of beer as they were flat, again we had no reply she just walked away. A man then bought the bill over and the beers hasn’t been removed he then stood hovering over our table while we all sorted individual costs and got our cash out. The prices on the bill for just drinks was absolute extortion. €5 for a small bottle of water and €13 for a watered down Malibu and coke (we bought a whole bottle of Malibu in the supermarket for €10! Absolutely avoid this restaurant, you will be drawn in by the fake friendliness and the smoke and mirrors of its decor and be left with a hefty bill.

We had a very nice team dinner with an amazing selection of different plates like meat, seafood and paella. Highly recommending the oysters and the salmon tartar. Great, fast and very friendly service. We will for sure come back.

Definitivamente mi restaurante favorito en ibiza! con un menú variado, situación y servicio. ¡Recomiendo la pulpa a la brasa, la ensalada de langosta y la paella,spectacular! y. el encanto añadido de poder pasear por un puerto con historia y el encanto de tan callejuelas y tiendas.

Nos encantó el restaurante, el formidable menú y la fantástica terraza. Disfrutamos de la comida y el lugar, frente al puerto. la atención muy cuidadosa y el precio de calidad ratio jota. un lugar muy recomendable si quieres disfrutar de una buena experiencia gastronómica en ibiza.
