Hacienda Cusín - Ibarra

I was here a long time ago for a few nagic nights. I loved it! I have maps to see if it was still open. close to the famous Sat market in octavalo, they had a driver who picked us up later in the evening and drove us from the airport eveno to hacienda. behind the abbey is a small village, we stumbled into a local festival that was great! book them early and enjoy them. I would like to stay a lot longer in this beautiful one.

Compliments to the chef, fabulous and friendly service. The place is beautiful. It is hotel and a restaurant, the gardens are magnificent. Just a place to be if you want to relax.

We had an absolutely magical stay almost a year ago, and as the anniversary of our visit approaches, we keep thinking about it. The hacienda, its gardens and surroundings are breathtaking a perfect place to unwind and absorb beauty and history. I hope we’ll be back soon.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful, historic estate. I’m so thankful we were able to stay two nights, and even then, I don’t believe we fully experienced everything they had to offer. Our family enjoyed exploring the grounds and monastery, horseback riding, and venturing out to see the waterfalls nearby. The staff was very hospitable, the accommodations were beyond expected, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with antiques and tasteful artwork. We had a lovely, memorable stay!

WE HAD MONEY STOLEN FROM OUR ROOM!! It pains me to write this review as we actually had a lovely time staying at Hacienda Cusin. The grounds were beautiful and the staff appear very friendly. Sadly there are dishonest staff who work here. We had $1,000 USD cash stolen from either our safe or backpack in our locked cottage. I wrote to the Hacienda upon our return from our trip to make them aware of what happened and never heard a response. MAKE SURE TO KEEP YOUR CASH and important belongings on you at all times while staying at the resort and do not trust the safe.
