Restaurant Phenice - Iaşi

I went with a friend on a Friday evening. I was following the restaurant on Facebook (very good social media activity) and it exactly what they advertise. We were very impressed by the waiter's professionalism, the quality of the food (we had mezze for 2...and the sfiha spanac delicious) and the cozy atmosphere (live music). I also recommend the Knafe for desert.

We had a little difficulty finding this restaurant. It is the left stairway by Oscar Restaurant. The name was hidden as they are redecorating with new mural paintings. It was quiet at 18:00 Saturday. We ordered two menu plates, one mutton, and one chicken, both...which came with salads, humous, rice/potatoes, The mutton was pretty tasty and the fried potatoes had a nice spicy sauce with them. This was a nice contrast to the rather bland Romanian food we had been eating. Our waiter was very helpful with explanations. I hope that the Spring bodes well with their alterations and the restaurant returns lives up to previous reviewer expectations. For us it worked out just fine providing dinner and a time to relax after a long bus ride.

Been here several times. It's a little bit pricey but worth it. The food is very good and i think they have one of best lemonades in tow. The service can be very good but also a nightmare, depends on how many people are in...the restaurant. Overall a pleasant experience.

It's one of the few places where one can eat something delicious and special. Went there several times and tried different dishes, loved them all. The service is not that good though... Patience needed to get your menu and order. Otherwise I'd go there anytime!

This is a restaurant with Lebanese-specific, with good specific food. Ambience very cozy, very clean. The dishes are small and expensive, but delicious. Waiters are easy.
