Spice Lounge Rishton - Hyndburn

The service at this restaurant is always excellent. I have been here numerous times and everything is always perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Upon our arrival, we were seated in the bar area and promptly given menus and offered drinks. Our order, set menu A, was taken after a short wait. We were then escorted to our table and served poppadoms with a chutney tray within 5 minutes, which was a nice touch. The starters included onion bhajis, sheesh kebab, and a unique garlic chicken soup that was surprisingly tasty. For our main course, we enjoyed chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, pilau rice, and garlic naan, all of which were delicious and filling - definitely enough for two people! As part of the set menu, we were supposed to receive a coffee liqueur each, but it was not offered initially. Although there was a minor issue with the bill, it was quickly resolved (the waiter was new and not familiar with the set menu). However, when we requested the coffees, we were charged for them. Despite the small oversight, it was only a minimal amount so we decided to pay it without further ado. We would consider returning to this restaurant, but as always, it is important to double-check your bill before paying.
