Really friendly accommodating welcome. Came here last year and the food was fabulous, this year it was even better. Had soupe de poissons to start and langouste and truffle risotto, right up there with the best food I've ever had. Service is attentive and friendly. Fantastic.
This restaurant mainly offers fresh grilled fish. This is supplemented with a nice selection of Mediterranean starters-we were a table of 11 and tried most of them-all good and tasty. Service was friendly and pro. At the end, with the starters, fish, desert and wine we ended up with a bill of about 100 euro per head (the price of the fish is per kg, so you do not know exactly how much you will pay before you get the check). I found this price high of course but ok given the good quality of the food and the location of the restaurant which offers a beautiful view on the harbour. However all your guests really need to like grilled fish as the menu has little additional choice to offer.
This is probably upper class place as it is the last restaurant in the bay and all of the others you pass looks ok but more touristic places. This one stand out with nice decorated tables and the first they ask for is if you have reserved for lunch. This means its popular. Even if this is probably at the high end of the pricing scale it's probably the best restaurant i been to in South of France. The service even they claim they don't speak English is just fantastic. They do anything they can for you to feel relaxed and even if they are very busy they do anything for you. We arrived for lunch and our captain for our boat of the day recommended this restaurant.They got us a table inside but before main course they had arranged a table outside. We had starters, and their speciality for main Seabass which was stunning! Just sitting there in this pictures harbour enjoying quality food and energic positiv staff was just a highlight of the day for me. I will go back. We where a family of 5 with children from age 12,16 and 19 and they all enjoyed the food. (they had minced meat for the 12y old even she went over to our seabass :) )
As this is only a small island there is very little choice when it comes to somewhere to eat. We chose this restaurant and it looked lovely and there were a number of people already eating there. We chose the set menu so the choice was limited (a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 deserts). Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed win my starter ( a huge portion of what I can only describe as whitebait, but I had been given a small bucket full of over fried fish).My main course was lovely, again another fish dish but the desert of fruit was again average and nothing special. On a plus side the staff bent over backwards to please but I struggled to understand how the quality of their food was so average especially as it was the beginning of the season and not busy. Unfortunately I would not go back but cannot compare this restaurant with others on the island.
