La Chiquita - Hyattsville

I visited this restaurant this morning for breakfast, and I was pleased to find that they open at 9 AM, unlike many Hispanic or Mexican places that typically open at 10 or 11 AM! The prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious with generous portions on each plate. It's a nice spot for dining, and the service is excellent! I highly recommend it!

Absolutely delicious and fresh breakfast! I loved it! They open at 8 AM. I had the traditional breakfast and found it to be excellent. The handmade tortillas were perfect!

Absolutely fantastic! I visited for lunch and ordered pupusas while my friend tried several different tacos. Both dishes were delicious, served quickly, and felt very authentic. Just a heads up, the menu is entirely in Spanish, so if you're not familiar with the language, I suggest using a translation tool. I used Google Lens, and it worked perfectly. I definitely encourage everyone to give this place a try!

They need to improve their speed and customer service. Otherwise, they're fantastic. The prices are reasonable since they use plenty of fresh ingredients. If you're not accustomed to rustic cooking, I would recommend avoiding the soups. The breakfast platters are quite substantial, and most people could easily share one, as they are really large.

I am really impressed with the quality of the new menu and would like to give special recognition to Vilma, the chef. She truly brings an authentic Salvadoran flavor to the dishes. Congratulations to the entire staff; keep up the fantastic work!
