Chez Dior - Hyattsville

I visited with my wife in search of dibi lamb. Unfortunately, they don't slice theirs; instead, it's served in chunks, which made it quite tough for me to chew. I personally prefer softer meat, so that was a bit disappointing. However, the fish was exceptional, and their meat pie was extraordinary! The service was excellent as well. They do need to address their restroom situation, as it could use some cleaning and repair. Overall, it's a great local gem. Just a note, they never brought out the mango juice we ordered.

I tried Cameroon ndole for the first time, and it was delicious. I also really enjoyed the Bissap juice. The hospitality here is outstanding; the hosts truly make you feel like part of the family. I deducted one star because of the ventilation issues.

I traveled from Philadelphia for a birthday getaway with my husband, and we were craving some African cuisine. We discovered this restaurant, and let me tell you, it was a fantastic choice! Please make sure to stop by and indulge in the delicious food. The dishes were wonderful, and the customer service was great too!

I loved the lamb, but the rice was also fantastic. I couldn't decide, so I ended up getting both!

I called the restaurant to express my concerns and was promised a callback, but I never heard back from anyone. When I reached out to what I believe to be the owner to let her know I didn’t receive a response, she read my message and didn’t reply. In the end, I’m out $23 for just a bit of cassava and one drumstick. This experience feels like a total scam. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone—it’s a waste of time and the customer service is seriously lacking!
