The service was clearly well trained and supervised including the bus boys. I would highly recommend for a regular meal or a special occasion. A great location made better by new management, including the welcome one receives at the front desk. Excellent.
Had a very nice lunch at the Captains Table yesterday. Expertly served by our decades long friendly Bartender Mark. Cocktails and food were excellent.Vegetarian options: Not sure but the menu changes.Kid-friendliness: There is a sailing program and dining options for kids.Parking: Self and valet service.Dietary restrictions: Possibly some gluten free and vegan options.
Came here for a brunch with a big group they split us up into different tables but were very nice about it. Idk how we fit because the space was so small but I guess we got lucky with the time. The waitress was super nice and accommodating of our ridiculous questions and the fact we were all barely awake (and many hungover). She took it all in stride with a sense of humor. I got the corn dog which was so hilariously plated I couldn't stop laughing. Was not expecting that. The sauces were eh (beer cheese with NO flavor) but I was also eating a corn dog at 11 am so...I got a side of cole slaw that was pretty big (although a little deceptive with a big lettuce leave holding it up and making the serving look bigger) and then I also got a gazpacho (don't ask about this combination). It was a chunkier one with a swirl of sour cream that was clearly from some type of a bottle which was kind of gross looking but the flavor was the same as normal sour cream so whatever. The **** Marys were WEIRD. We couldn't figure out what the prominent flavor for but it was odd. This place is no frills, kind of dive y with the smallest bar I have ever seen. There is outdoor seating, but not much bigger out there. Def would come back for something cheap and easy. Classic Cape food!
We arrived early and enjoyed a cocktail in the dining room by the window on the harbor. It has to be the best restaurant view in the Town of Barnstable. The waitress was friendly and very efficient. Rolls were served, water glasses filled. We shared a stuffie and then had fish entrees and another friend had steak and frites. The fish was fresh and well prepared. The steak was done just right. Coffees were served and a crème brûlée shared. It was a relaxed and very enjoyable meal.
This has to be one of the best restaurants for seaside views. Our table was right by the window with great views of the boats coming in and out. The help is very friendly and attentive. The food is very good quality and quantity.
