Mekong Kitchen Thai - Hurricane

Takes forever. Food was ready in the kitchen. They don’t care about waiting customers!!!!

Worst Thai restaurant I've been to. For $15, the Pad Thai was really funky, flavorless, and extremely dry. Even the lime wedge was so dry I couldn't get a drop out of it. Make the drive to St george and get the real thing at Banana Blossom

The curry was good. The shrimp tempura was not great.

I buy lunch for a crew of men every weekday. In my opinion Mekong Kitchen is by far the best food in Hurricane. Period. Over a period of about a year my crew has requested this food more and more. Now instead of once a month, we order once a week. I've tried every dish on the menu. They are all great! I have to add an addendum to this review. One of my crew said to me today, “we should do Mekong every day. If I could have Mekong Fried Rice every day, I would be a happy man!”

It's not bad by any means. It's a fast casual Thai place that scratches the itch. I would go back. My husband and I split the pad Thai and Panang curry. Personally I liked the curry better but both were still good. Our friend had the Pad see ew, that was my favorite dish out of all of us.
