Wimpy's Diner - Huntsville

The breakfast was delicious! Initially, we were a bit worried as the restaurant was nearly empty... but Paulina greeted us immediately and treated us like close friends! She even suggested some fantastic activities for us to try. If you're in the area, be sure to give it a chance!

Do Not Come here for Breakfast. Got to Wimpys at 10 o'clock I was third in line which is fine but I was standing looking at multiple tables open maybe 7 seated tables at the time, same amount of waitress working. Finally get seated at 10:45 wait another 20 minutes for someone to come ask for drinks. Waited 10 minutes for drinks another 20 until a different waitress came and asked if my table of 5 was on one bill insisted it should be. We didn't do the one bill and proceeds to ask what what we would like from the menu but clearly upset not on one bill (she's also hungover). Waited another 40 minutes for food which was cold when we got it. They ended up not charging us due to one of my friends getting French soggy French toast and rotten strawberry's. This is not a place to go please avoid.

A Huntsville icon! The absolute best breakfast you could ask for! Very creative menu, a genuine classic diner experience, with amazing service that matches the ambiance. An absolute must if you are in Muskoka!

We decided to stop at Wimpy in Huntsville for breakfast after staying at a cottage in Magnetawan. We had originally planned to eat at a local restaurant, but it was full. When we called Wimpy, they said they had plenty of seats available so we decided to walk in. The waitress checked all of us for ID and vaccine proof. Our waitress, Pauline, was very friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. She asked us where we were from and since she knew we were visiting the area, she quickly pulled out a laminated card with points of interest in Huntsville and suggested we pay a visit. We were impressed by her excellent service. The food was delicious and served quickly. I highly recommend visiting Wimpy if you are in the area.

Somehow this friendly and fast diner didn 't come up in breakfast yelp search. We walked in on Friday morning around 11am, were greeted and seated right away. The menu is good and prices are fair. The food came out quickly and was delicious! We had American Omelette, Eggs Benedict and Triple waffle. The portions are big, eggs were perfect in Benedict and we loved the potatoes that came with the meal. Coffee was very good too! Our server was very friendly, attentive and efficient! We had fun reading the old signs on the walls. Only 4 starts because the food is good and solid but not the best we ever had. It was great for what we needed at the moment though.
