My sword fish steak was good. Caesar salad was average. Sides were poor. Fries are not fresh cut, but passible. My 2nd side was missing - I got a baked potato instead (2 potato sides ????). Glad I didn't order the baked potato (A joke). Neither the server nor the waiter followed up to verify our orders, I had to call him over to indicate the error ! My 2nd side arrived as I finished my meal. The food vs the price are far apart. I'm a local, won't be back. I expect there business is in 1 time tourist visits - few returns. I should have clued in upon entering, the place was half empty. Other restaurants in Huntsville are packed with waiting lists.
Let me start be saying that our server Linda was amazing. We were greeted like old friends at the door and sat at a beautiful table right beside the fireplace. How nice is that? The food was also amazing. Fabulous scallops. Yummy!I got to enjoy the special of the evening. An amazing chefs creation. Too bad Antler is not open year round. Love the new decor. A fresh new look to an old favourite. Thank you everyone that made our evening so special.
Dinner with an old friend made charming with great service and wonderful food. Steaks cooked to perfection and the ambiance was serene. Highly recommend
Had such a good meal on the first night that we decided to return for an equally good meal a second night. On both nights, the service was exceptional. Our servers, John and Murray were both wonderful and made each evening's meal that much better. The wine list was not extensive, but quite adequate for the menu items. Both the swordfish and steak dishes were prepared well as were my wife's lamb and seafood linguini dishes. Prices were a bit high, but the service and ambiance more than made up for the expense. Would recommend this restaurant for adults and older children.
Part of the Deerhurst complex, though abt 1/2 mile away from the resort proper. The food was excellent, prices fair, service good (maybe overly friendly if you catch my drift) and alcohol pour generous. If staying at the resort, this is the best they have. Make a reservation a head of time as night we got in could not eat here. Next night worked out. Pretty setting as well
