The rice rolls were well-formed and tidy, with fresh avocado and fish, and the shredded crab was packed neatly and presented beautifully. Everything tasted fantastic, and the condiments provided were plentiful, well-spiced, and sufficient. While I wasn’t given a pot of house tea, the green tea I ordered was of exceptional quality, resembling matcha, and the server made sure to refill my mug frequently. For the total experience of six rolls, six pieces of tempura vegetables, and four pieces of tempura crab sticks, the bill came to $110 with tip—it was pricey, but fortunately, the quality made it worthwhile. A complementary serving of miso and tea would have enhanced the meal further.
What stood out most to us, aside from the lovely decor and atmosphere, was the food. We were especially impressed with the sashimi, which was not only thick but also chosen with great care to ensure top quality. Unlike many sushi restaurants in Toronto, their sashimi pieces contained no veins or tendons, making for a refreshing experience. During our visits, we also tried several rolls. One that we particularly loved was the Cindy Roll, which features cucumber shells as the outer layer. As someone who doesn’t usually enjoy cucumbers, I found myself unable to stop thinking about this roll and can’t wait to order it again! We also sampled the Hurricane Roll, which was satisfying and filled with a fantastic sauce combination. Another favorite was the Sundae Roll, which, along with the Cindy Roll, was among my top picks. Overall, the prices for the rolls and sashimi are very reasonable considering the quality and uniqueness offered. The wide selection leaves you wanting more and invites you to either order additional items or indulge in a sweet treat afterward!
This is the best sashimi I've ever had! As a huge sashimi fan, I was amazed by this small-town sushi restaurant in Huntsville. They served the freshest and thickest salmon sashimi I've ever experienced. Each dish is made fresh, resulting in incredibly rich flavors. While it's not an all-you-can-eat sushi place, I found the prices to be reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. It was absolutely worth every penny! I can't wait to return!
Amazing rolls! They have kinds I have never tried before so I was excited to try it. We'll visit here again when we come up next.
Very fresh sushi. Sashimi and sushi were well chosen and laid out nicely. Prices are higher than Toronto but well worth it. You are getting the freshest sushi you'll ever enjoy.
