The Southern Chop - Huntsville

Thank you for the opportunity to have a wonderful breakfast with the Marriott team. I absolutely LOVED the french toast the delicious fruit. The presentation for the charcuterie board the french toast was amazing! Thank you to the chef the staff for a warm welcome to the Marriott this morning. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Edit: This was my second time here. This time the food was not good. The pork chop was dry and the risotto that I liked a lot last time had too strong white wine taste. Only crab cake was delicious. The service was slow though the place was not packed at all. I was disappointed? ???????????????????????? Great food, service and atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant was clean and looked new. The shrimp bisque was too salty, but other than that everything we had here was delicious.

Had to wait a few minutes to be seated (90% tables empty). Once seated, waited several more minutes no one came. Got up went to buffet. Back at the table had to wait again for silverware and drinks. Lots of staff walking around, but no organization. Never knew who my waiter was. $16 buffet is the exact same food you get FREE at most motels. Nothing special. Had to go through 3 plates to find a clean one.

Has reservations for Valentines, they had their Valentines Special. That was all. No regular menu. Appetizer was kind of bland, Cesar salad was ok, both my wife?s and my steak came out undercooked, sent both back, both came back looking better but my wife?s was so tough she couldn?t eat it. Mine was tough but I did manage to eat it. Desert came next. Her Red Velvet Cheesecake was ok, not great and my Crème Brûlée was cold and tasted as though it had been made a day or two ago. Service was fine, food left a lot to be desired.

Came here for Valentines Day dinner, paid a lot of money for a bad meal. Our steak and lamb were raw. It didn?t look like they had been cooked. I?m pregnant I can?t eat raw meat. The mashed potatoes needed salt and pepper the creme brûlée was not good either. The only thing that was decent was the salad. Our server was very sweet. I wish I could remember her name but she was very kind.
