If you're looking for a burger that looks and tastes like it's fresh from the grill, that's your place. I ordered the #2 Killerburger. Did it, as it came, not make any changes, flies and a diet coke (not judges). Burger was huge, raw fresh from the grill, looked hot from the grill, and overall taste like a large homemade burger. Fries looked and tasted like fresh cut potatoes in shoe chain size, seasoned quite well. I feel that the price is somewhat high compared to competition for what you get, and drive thru was pretty slow. Had a car in front of me and didn't make it in the window for almost 25 minutes. Place is always busy, but in any case again other things try. Nice and full after dinner!
Discovered Mr. Hamburger from the YouTube channel The Texas Bucket List and added it to my list of stops on my road trip. I have the old Sparky with regular frits. Like the electric chair it named after, the aromas galvanized my taste buds with taste in every bite. The fried patty was very fascinating and the following notes from the sauce sent me to another taste dimension. As strange as it sounds, I felt that the vegetables and spices really complimented the burger. The pommes were good, but something too crispy for my personal preference. I received a good customer service from the two workers who served me and from my experience I would recommend to Mr. Hamburger. For travelers like me, the parking lot is behind the facility and the drive thru wraps around the building. The building was formerly a gas station and has many memories of the previous days as well as prison items. There are many stories of prisoners from prison who have their freedom meals with Mr. Hamburger, as well as stories of death row occupants who demand Mr. Hamburger as their last meals.
Delicious! My husband has the Wardenburger and I have the dirty chicken sandwich. Both were so delicious! I also have the Mexican street friars. (Not shown was an Oreo-Milchshake I shared with my Kiddos. Deff goes here for lunch/night!
Finally, this place was trying after a few years. Should have done it earlier. Burgers and rings were great! Great soda (no longer make so much). The memories of the way food was made and the atmosphere returned. It was too good not to come back!
Great hamburger joint that's been around for decades. Just off the courthouse square. Not far off the interstate. Better choice than most fast food places. Burger was juicy and fat. Numerous napkins needed. All the add ons were fresh. Onion rings were top notch. Only drawback is that when they get busy be prepared to get your food. They are not fast, even in the drive thru line.
