Kamado Ramen - Huntsville

I highly recommend this ramen restaurant for delicious and authentic ramen. I walked in without knowing what to order, but I described the flavors I enjoy and the staff helped me choose the perfect dish. The spicy miso ramen pictured was fantastic. The portions were generous and the customer service was excellent. I definitely suggest dining in at the restaurant or taking it to go. They even provide a little packet with chopsticks and a soup spoon, so you can easily enjoy your meal on the patio. Overall, a great spot for delicious ramen.

I haven't had a delicious bowl of ramen in a long time, but this place really satisfied my craving. I ordered takoyaki and tonkotsu ramen, and I definitely intend to return to try more dishes.

I came close to reviewing Kamado a few months back when I visited, but only ended up ordering appetizers since it was too hot outside for ramen. I'm glad I waited until I tried their main dishes before forming a complete opinion, because I ended up enjoying their ramen much more than the appetizers! Similar to the other restaurants at Stovehouse, this Kamado location (not to be confused with their new spot at MidCity) is a small counter service restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It can be challenging to serve food that is specifically designed for takeout, but they prepared the food as if it were for delivery, allowing us to assemble it ourselves. The food was very tasty, and it would also be suitable for takeout or delivery. This review is delayed as I visited in January 2022, so please forgive me if things have changed since then.

The vegan ramen option at this restaurant lacked flavor and I wish they offered more choices, but the location is excellent with a variety of craft beers and live music.
