Woody's Diner - Huntington Beach

The diner was calm, yet welcoming, and the service was good, although the waitress was noticeably nervous or tired (or both, but this is simply an observation, no criticism). I ordered her steak sandwich that fits a Philly cheese steak and was happy with taste and portion size. I would order the sandwich again, but the menu is full of options that I will get through on my next visit.

Woody had food. Not bad, but not great. The service was good, Friday staff. The food was just okay. They give you good portions.

Woody's has that 50s diner feels it with lots of comfort food options served all day. I usually get breakfast, but I decided for lunch. A burger ordered and it was delicious and fresh. The portion sizes are compensated for with the pricing. You get enough food here, even if you have a hearty appetite. Comfortable, fast and a viable option if you eat in the mood for good American comfort.

Excellent for a small burger chain. That means my favorite thing is that there are buffalo chicken sandwich with Coleslaw. I know they have some other really good options, but this is my personal favorite. This location features a drive-thru and a terrace seat. I suggest to eat, but so you actually enjoy your food fresh instead of taking it home. The staff were friendly, but seem busy with other tasks. What I mean is fair enough because it was empty when we were there on a Sunday afternoon at 4:00.

Being honest the food was ok no flavor burgers are small and flavorless fries are ok for $14 I expected better. Nachos were $11 and I got jalapenos for them and I was charged an extra $2 without being told there would be an extra charge not to mention it was literally like 2 jalapenos sliced WAY to much for what we got. Wait staff is nice but doesn't make up for the meal. We won't be back with all the other good restaurants on that block we had to try this place what a disappointment.
