Pelican Isle Restaurant And Bar

I visited Pelican Isle for the first time and tried the combo fish plate. The drinks were delicious, but the service was lacking. The portions were also not very generous and the restaurant was hard to locate. However, overall it was worth the visit.

I highly recommend dining at Sean's in the Ocean Surf Inn. At first glance, it may not appear to be a restaurant, with just a small door and sign out front. However, once inside, you'll find a lively bar and a casual, yet fully serviced restaurant with an extensive menu offering a wide variety of dishes. Guests have the option to dine indoors or outdoors overlooking the marina. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience and would definitely return if I am in the area again.

I went to the restaurant with a friend and her 7-year-old son, looking for a nice view and good service. While the view was nice, the service was not up to par. We had to wait for someone to approach us to take our name for a table, and once we were seated, we were not given menus for about 15 minutes. After finally getting the menu from a young lady, we waited another 15 minutes without any server coming to our table. I had to ask for a server again, as we had waited over 30 minutes to be acknowledged. I typically try to look past negative reviews and understand the challenges that the restaurant industry faces, but this was my third disappointing experience at this establishment. The service is often hit or miss, and I would not recommend trying the house bloody mary. This type of service is not what people expect when dining out.

Beautiful place with view. sits on the marina in sunset beach. ca. we went on the afternoon so that it was not too full; the service and eating were good, alfredo dinner and fish chips. the crab cakes are good, but do not use whole pieces. overall would recommend.

The area is really nice but the food is okay. We had a few things but nothing too memorable but nothing too bad either. It's a nice spot to chill. Drinks were a highlight. I didn't feel cheated on the amount. So I'd say go get a few drinks, enjoy the vibe then eat while you have a buzz.
