Baja Taco House - Huntington Beach

This is not about the food..this is about there lousy service...Called in to place a future order, they answered and asked to hold, I did they placed the phone down so I could hear all the back ground conversations.After some time I began to yell in the phone to see if they can hear me that they forgot about me.This went on for more than 15 min. I even tried calling on my other phone and and all I got was a system saying voice mail not set up yet.So I got dressed got in the car drove to the location, from Hesperiaall while I was still on hold.This has been going on for over 30 min, mind you.Told the guy behind the counter what the heck I have been hold all this time how can you not know your phone has been off the hook, . Told him if this was the boss trying call and this happened you will probably would be fired...FYI: When I did arrive they were not busy so being on hold that long , CRAZY

Went back for the second time since they changed ownership and never going back. The portions have become half of what they used to be, eggs in my Mexicana were runny and gross. I didn't even finish my meal, threw most of it away. Not to mention beans are pinto and rice was dry. No thanks.

Too bad that the place was closed due to no staff even though hours posted and the website had indicated the location would be open. I am not one to stalk a restaurant to see when they 're open. Luckily there was another place closer to my house on Heil Ave that was open and ready to serve tacos.

I had been driving past Baja Taco House for a few months now and decided to stop in. I ordered the chicken taquitos and my partner ordered the shredded beef tacos. My partner said that the tacos were good, but not amazing although the outer shell was very crunchy. My taquitos, although, tasty, had a soggy shell. The best things were the chips and salsa. I probably won't be returning.

The tacos are expensive, but everything is expensive nowadays. Food quality is pretty good. But today is the second time in a row I've come here excited for tacos only to find they're closed. Another potential customer was walking up at the same time and we commiserated over having both showed up for tacos both on a Monday when they're closed all day, and then today when they're randomly closed from 1-5p. So call ahead before you waste your time coming here during normal business hours when they're closed.
