Traditional Fish Chips

Today I ordered squid and chips at this restaurant, and the service from the waitress was very friendly and efficient. However, I was disappointed when I tried the fish and chips. The batter was soggy and fell off the fish completely. The fish itself was thick but dry and lacked flavor, although it was not as tasteless as the batter. The chips were thick and appeared undercooked, with a slightly unpleasant taste. Overall, the meal was disappointing, but I give two stars for the convenience of accepting cards and the friendly service from the waitress.

Thank you for the delicious fish and chips I ordered on Friday. I shared it with my guests and we all enjoyed it without any leftovers. It was a delightful meal. I will definitely be returning soon.

Our first visit was also our last one. We ordered a large squid, large calamari, and large plaice. The batter was too thick, and the fish was very dry and tasteless. The portion sizes were small, and the fish was overcooked. The chips were okay. The sausage was the best part as it was juicy and moist. The staff at the entrance were polite.

We decided to try the fish n chips from this place for a change. good COVID measures when ordering and waiting. a little more than others in the opposite very small consideration. chips were nice, but cod not very...small and not very tasty. disappointment overall as small portion, very average food and very expensive.

Super-friendly staff, excellent fried fish and chips, battered sausages, southern fried chicken and rotisserie chicken. Good value for high quality. We visit them regularly and missed the shop during the lockdown.
