Spice House - Huntingdonshire

I placed an order on Just Eat at 7:50 pm, with an expected delivery time of 8:50 pm. However, at 8:50 pm, the restaurant changed the delivery time to 9:25 pm. When I called, the person on the phone had difficulty understanding English and proceeded to shout at me before hanging up without addressing my query. It is now 9:30 pm, and I still have not received my order. The restaurant is not answering their phone, and Just Eat is having trouble reaching them. I would not recommend ordering from this place, especially if you are in a hurry, as the customer service is terrible.

We placed our dinner order at 5pm. After calling three times, we finally got someone to answer the phone. However, an hour later, we still hadn't received our food. When we called again, my husband expressed his frustration and they hung up on us. The service was absolutely terrible. Please do not bother trying this restaurant, go to the reliable shop next door, STAR KEBAB, instead. We wanted to try something different but will never do so again.

I placed an order through their online service, but after waiting for an hour for our delivery, I called to inquire about the delay. I was informed that the delay was due to traffic, despite it being a midweek evening and us living in the same village as the restaurant. The person I spoke to on the phone did not seem concerned about my dissatisfaction. As of now, we are still waiting for our food, an hour and a half after placing the order.

First heard about this place by flyer, manager delivered it and couldn't have been nicer. Since then although the food is good it is so rare to get the order correct. Always something missing or wrong. Not sure what has changed but I'd suggest barely anyone speaking English may be an issue. Shame.

I often get the same dish here (vegetable dhansak) and I like how it's always a bit different it's always good, but they are obviously not just using a standard recipe. The owner/manager is really friendly too, cheerful with everyone. My only problem with the place is that they've recently taken away the chairs to sit on while waiting for your takeaway order.
