Hodson's Fish - Huntingdonshire

Since the new owners have taken over the quality of both the product and the service, has significantly improved (as it was earlier, and possibly even better imho . always responded to a friendly vote when I call to place my order. the young man who often supplies our food is a beautiful polite young man and the delivery is in the regular timely and within the specified time scale. they do not really go anywhere else for our fish and chip supers in these days. may not recommend hodsons enough;

I called in last night and ordered just a Venus burger. to my surprise it come with chips which I'm not complaining about !! very nice food and service the burger was a beaut and the chips i think are fried twice.!!!. however my only disappointment was when the owner (I presume) was having a go at one of the service girls in front of customers ! this in my book is a no go!! I believe that if you have to have a loud discussion with staff then it should be done away from customers. other than that not a bad thing to say about it!

First time and defo won't be the last, probably the best fish and chips I've had away from the sea side. Lovely fresh cooked Cod with a good portion of chips and you can sit in... well worth a visit.

Fantastic eating! always good from here, never disappointed. only the best!

A word 'delicious' had only the most amazing fish and chips. my elders were here and they both said that the cod is irritating, really crunchy and the cod was huge. I had the plague and loved her. there were many chips and I will order again definitiw. Thank you.
