Bentleys - Huntingdonshire

I brought my elderly aunt to this restaurant for dinner because she thought it would be luxurious. However, the service was poor, the food was terrible and way too expensive, and the waiter was rude and disrespectful when I requested a vegan menu. Overall, I would not recommend this place. It seems you would receive better service at McDonald's, and interestingly enough, this hotel is owned by McDonald's.

I had a fantastic time dining here for lunch. The setting was beautiful, the staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend this restaurant. The menu was good, the food was well presented, and the service was excellent. I will definitely be coming back.

I was invited to have a meal at a restaurant by my in-laws over Christmas, and the anticipation had me feeling really excited. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the food quality. When I mentioned this to the server, they rolled their eyes in front of me. My plate took so long to be replaced that the other guests had practically finished eating before my "replacement" meal arrived, which turned out to be the same plate that I had originally been served. I realize that working on Christmas is not everyone's idea of fun and that it was a busy time, but I expected much better service and quality.

Have been going to the Haycock hotel for Christmas Day lunch now for the last 7 years and it is always a great day from the food which was perfect and plenty of ,the Yorkshire puddings are huge,to the staff who are friendly and helpful they made it have a real Christmas atmosphere especially Father Christmas who gave a really nice present will definitely be booking again for 2016

My wife, 8 week old baby we're looking for somewhere to break up our long trip up the A1 on New Year's Day. We booked a table in the restaurant and even though turned up early were seated straightaway. We soon realised that it was a bit more formal a place to bring a new born and asked if we could eat somewhere else in the hotel. After a quick look it was clear the bar area was full. However the staff kindly let us eat in a side room where we had loads of room for us and our babies pram. Despite us not sitting in the main restaurant the staff were very attentive and took our order and brought the food out promptly. Our two courses at £19 were good value and we both enjoyed a roast beef lunch. Congratulations to the staff for being so good and helpful and you made our stop off enjoyable relaxing and welcoming. Keep up the good work
