Southern Maid Donuts - Humble

This has been my favorite restaurant since it opened. The staff is always very friendly and courteous.

They taste like they were frozen… I don’t know what they do different but I don’t like it

The woman at the front was friendly, but unfortunately, this place is not clean! I visited the restroom, and it was in terrible condition. Afterward, I glanced around the lobby, and it was just as unkempt. If you're going to serve food, your restaurant should be clean! At that point, I was hesitant to eat, as I couldn't help but wonder what the kitchen looked like!

Absolutely disappointing. I stopped by and ordered a half dozen country boy kolaches and a half dozen donuts, and it cost me $32! When I asked the lady why it was so expensive, she just pointed to the sign, which was so poorly maintained that the prices were nearly impossible to read. I thought, fine, I’ll support a small business and paid anyway. However, when I got to work and shared them with my co-workers, the kolaches were stale, and the donuts tasted like they came straight from a Walmart bag. I was seriously let down.

The kolaches are worth the stop. The bread makes them! Always fresh. Donuts are not bad just not the best I've ever had.
