Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Humble

The food was excellent—I absolutely loved the apple pie! However, it felt a bit intimidating at night because of the people in the parking lot. I ordered in advance, and my meal was ready when I arrived, so I had very little wait time. Overall, I give the food a 5 out of 5!

Sorry, I was not impressed with this Popeyes. Drug dealers hanging outside the place, and the environment just wasnt clean. The only reason we stopped was because my Uncle really was hungry and wanted a strawberry biscuit. Well, they were out of biscuits, and the chicken fries were cold and unseasoned. Nothing about this place reminded me of the traditional Popeyes with good downhome fast food. If you're going to raise the prices of food, you need to make sure its worth it. In this case, it was not. Also, the customer service can use some improvement as well. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

The food was decent, but once again, our orders were incorrect when we went through the drive-thru. This seems to happen every time. Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.

This is our third visit to this location; we came once several years ago and had a long wait with unprofessional service, followed by two visits this year while flying out of Houston. Unfortunately, there are often unsavory individuals hanging around the gas station adjacent to the restaurant and outside. While the service is unprofessional, the food is consistently hot and delicious. The macaroni and cheese is particularly noteworthy—it's creamy, cheesy, and absolutely scrumptious. The red beans and rice, along with the mashed potatoes and gravy, are also fantastic and truly worth the trip. I find myself reluctant to eat at Popeyes in my city because it simply doesn't compare. While we don't eat chicken, the sides were so impressive that we made sure to return on our way back from our trip. I plan to stop by this location for their sides every time I travel to Houston. I just hope they can address the issue of the people loitering in front of the restaurant.
