Chick Houz Humble

I have to say, as soon as we received our food, it was quite good. I was informed that our order would take around 25 minutes, as there were others ahead of us. I estimated it might take about 45 minutes to be ready since we were a larger group. However, we ended up getting our orders around 10 minutes apart. After approximately 30 minutes, my wife received her side dish, which she then had to share with the kids. It took another 15 minutes or so for another item to arrive, and it felt frustrating that the restaurant couldn't coordinate serving our meals together. Despite the delays, the food itself was enjoyable. Unfortunately, I found the overall experience disappointing. I also asked for a bean and cheese burrito, but was told there were no modifications allowed on the menu, which was quite odd. I think we’ll look for a different place next time.

Excellent experience! I will definitely be returning. The chicken was juicy and delicious, and the plantains were fantastic. The service was outstanding as well.

Our family absolutely loves this place! The menu offers a wonderful variety of options, and honestly, we've never ordered anything we didn't enjoy. One of our favorites is the churrasco sandwich. Even the salads are made with fresh ingredients and are incredibly flavorful!

I tried the Lomo-saltado and the Chicha-Morada and they were pretty good! the service was also very attentive and the place was clean. my selection was not just affordable, but the portions were good. next time I will order the lunch special, which is more affordable to see if it is also good. I would give them 5 stars if they had whip, the king of peruvian food!

It took a bit longer than expected even after ordering ahead of time but it just became my favorite spot to get Peruvian rotisserie chicken in Houston. The yellow creamy sauce was amazing. The fried plantains were yummy too.Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
