Charleys Cheesesteaks - Humble

Charley?s just opened at this location. After living 8 years in Phillie, I had my first cheesesteak at this location with great expectation. It was very good and true to the Phillie tradition of making these steaks. The roll was soft, the steak was delicious and the onions and provolone made this item well done. An added bonus that you wouldn?t find on a street vendor cart in Philadelphia is nice French fries. Dare I might say: The were McDonalds- like. A large cheese steak was &10.99 without the fries and drink and about $3 more as a combo.

I can't believe I have walked in this place twice since discovering and the experience has been welcoming. The service, food drink. The Blueberry lemonade ???? pleasant. The employees seem happy while cooking, I could hear them humming. I'm so use to Zombies ??????? at other places that just defile the experience. NOT CHARLIE'S!! Amazing ???? ????????????????

TLDR: This place is great. Clean on the inside, staff are very friendly and food is pretty good considering it's fast food. So lets talk about food... I went all out on this order I wanted to try everything and give my honest opinion. This was a first visit for me and my husband. I ordered: the Philly cheese steak with all fixings large, 6 bone in wings (mango habanero), gourmet fries (nacho cheese and bacon) and a reg. Size drink (coke). My husband ordered the Bacon Philly cheese steak and a 4p boneless wing (reg buffalo sauce). Cheese steaks were amazing. The large is a ft long, reg is 9 and small is 6 . The peppers and onions are cooked with the steak so they are soft and caramelized on your sandwhich. The Bacon cheese steak was great as well with at least 4 slices of bacon. Wings Bonein comes out to about 1.60 per wing. I got a 6 at 9.99 with one saucing. Personally the sauce was weak (mango habanero) but these wings are so good. Cooked to perfection. The boneless wings were even better. Although many ppl agree it's just a nugget these were actually better than the bone in. I will order these instead next time. Fries It's going to be a hard pass on the gourmet fries. They simply have nacho cheese and bacon bits sprinkled on top. It didn't taste like fresh bacon it seemed more like the Bacon crumbles you but on a salad. For the price of the fries this wasn't it. Price This is the big one. I'm going to say, first I ordered way to much food. A normal order would be about 15 per person. I spent 51. And while that is quiet a lot it was worth it. My meal alone was about 30 bucks. But my husband only had a drink, sandwhich and 4 boneless wings and his meal was 20. So this gets for price as it should be. In conclusion this restaurant is still great for an afternoon lunch date or later dinner idea. I give it ???????? and ????

Awesome food it was fresh, fast and delicious.. I had the regular cheesesteak and the blueberry lemonade. And the blueberry lemonade was amazing.

My sandwich was warm. Not hot. Too much meat and not enough cheese. The young lady that took My order could have been a bit more customer friendly. It was My first and by far the worst Philly cheese steak I've ever eaten. I didn't even finish it, it was so bad. Never went back, not because of the service (everyone has an off day) but because of the food. I only gave it 2 stars because they loaded the sandwich with lots of meat and the fries were nice and hot.
