Black Bear Diner Humble

The first time here and it was annoyingly better than I thought it will be! hotter and icy coffee were both good and eating was amazing. we didn't expect so big portions, but it's always a plus to bring the rest later to home!

My family brought me here for the birthday. great food, nice service, but it took a good minute to get out for our food. a family of 6 got her eating before us; a party of 3 and we ordered before them. So I had to strike a star for it. but the other had a good time.

I was in a few black bear diners in California, all super! but this has blown my extraordinary customer service into the senses. from the moment I came through the door and was greeted by a warm smile of jonas. the man who sat us, josé luis, also greeted us and made us feel at home. jesus, our server, was on our table and made sure that my table was supervised during our diving experience. even the lady who brought our food to the table brought us not only our delicious breakfast, but gave us the warmest smile. jorge, the manager, was greeting, cleaning, coughing and was also super friendly. I love to see the culture that this team has created, and I recommend everyone in this opposite to go to this restaurant. not only for the tasty eating, but for the phenomenal experience of people working in this facility.

This was our second time visiting and the food was just as good as the 1st time. We tried the hobo omelette and the cinnamon roll french toast. The french toast has a very distinct flavor and doesn't even really need the syrup provided with it. Our only complaint is that this time they sat us at the bar. We were willing to wait for a booth, but they were really busy on this Sunday morning and just wanted to get us seated and fed. The bar area was very loud and chaotic (people yelling for runners and for status on an order) and kinda took away from our relaxing Sunday breakfast vibe. We'll definitely visit again, just hopefully not at the bar.

Black bear diner owes me nothing. I'm completely satisfied. no, I am more than satisfied with everything, starting with the customer service, especially from our beautiful waitress/server ashley. she was so patient and friendly. I really like them. Workers who want to train server on the gold STAR service should hire ashley as a consultant/trainer. she mastered it. let me talk about eating. Actually, I didn't expect much, but apparently the chef, called the cliff, also mastered his craft. everything was beautifully presented, pissed hot and delicious. oh and the portion size is ridiculous! eat so much. my eyes and my brains wanted to swallow everything, but it was so much. Look at the pictures! if they were not at this place, they plan to visit soon. They eat nothing before they go because the portions are massive. thanks ashley and cliff that we make our celebration blow. I am so full and my heart is overjoyed.
