The Countryman

The food was good, but the disabled/baby changing toilet was very disappointing. There was no automatic light upon entry and the restroom was absolutely freezing and in need of cleaning. There were paper towels left on the windowsill. The price per person was £10–20 and the food, service, and atmosphere were all rated a 5. Recommended dishes include the Chicken Stroganoff and Pie of the Day.

We liked the set price menu. Before lock- down we used to do pensions lunches, but no one does them (sadly) anymore. so your set lunches are the next best thing. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
