The Lodge Grill Sutton Golf Course

My husband and I went out for Sunday dinner today based on a friend's recommendation. We both ordered the chicken dinner, and it was amazing! The meal was served hot, with plenty of gravy, and the Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, and sautéed potatoes were all homemade. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return. The staff was very friendly too.

The food was excellent, and the portions were quite generous. Our server was friendly and welcoming. My only issue was that there were two very high steps to get into the building, and there was no handrail to assist.

I dined at this restaurant on Christmas Eve and the food was fantastic. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent, with minimal wait time at the bar. However, the only downside was that the restaurant was quite cold due to a lack of heating. We had to keep our coats on, and by the time the warmth kicked in, we had already finished our meal. I believe that when you go out to eat, the restaurant should already be comfortably warm, so guests shouldn't have to request heating or dine in winter jackets.

First visit for food. Really enjoyed. Our reserved table was ready when we arrived. The staff was friendly. Fresh food came quickly tasteful.

4 of us came last night 20 Sept for a meal for mine and my friends Birthday the food and service was excellent Bar staff very helpful and friendly 2 of us had Steak pie it was packed with meat lovely veg my Husband had Steak with all the trimmings and my friends Husband the fish Highley recommend going we went back again for our lunch I had the Lasagna it was excellent and hubby had curry once again excellent we will most definitely be going back
