Eden Bar Restaurant - Hull

Great food and fantastic service. Would have been a five star review if it were not foe the fact the toilets were poor. No loo roll in the womens and hand drier not working. Hand drier hanging off the wall in the gents and toilet blocked.

Lovely attentive staff and the Sunday roast was amazing. Really beautiful restaurant, will definitely recommend.

Need to do some staff training or recruit competent staff. Manager dodnt have a clue what was going on, service was horrendous. 3 tables in and we waited 45 mins for lunch whilst the manager who was on shift sat and had his before serving paying customers! The place will be closed within 6months through lack of enthusiasm, training and poor turnover!!

The restaurant was empty yet service was very slow. Under the fish was like mush the starters was lovely but let down by the main.

For a meal costing almost £100, one would expect drinks to be served at the table, but that was not the case here. We had to wait 5 to 10 minutes at the bar just to get a drink with our meal, which felt unacceptable given the prices charged. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lackluster; other couples were complaining about the poor service and bickering over who arrived first, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. We were seated next to speakers that were at ear level, and the music was uncomfortably loud. When my husband approached the bar to request that the music be turned down, the staff member responded quite abruptly, asking, “Is it?” While the volume did get reduced, the staff were generally rude. To make matters worse, they sent out the wrong desserts, and we had to return them and repeat our order. On a positive note, the food and restaurant decor were exceptional, but due to the poor atmosphere and lack of service, it's not a place I would return to or recommend. I understand that Valentine’s Day can be busy, but if you’re charging for a fine dining experience, you should at least provide proper table service.
