Humza Fish Point (head Balloki) - Hujra

A roadside and riverside food point selling fried fish. Just good in taste. Sitting arrangements are very ordinary. The place is also very unhygienic. Needs housekeeping. Health conscious and cleanliness loving persons should avoid all these points situated here.

Fried fish was good but the service and atmosphere was just ok.

Fish taste is average. Price very high. Environment is very poor.

These guys are very friendly I visited them with parents in the 90s, then in 2000s, latest in 2005 and today in 2021 with my wife. They wash the fish with fresh ground water then marinate and fry it to perfection. Same Great taste as 15 years ago! They have their own ‘Tandoor’ that serves perfect woody flavored bread/ roti as well. We ate in the car today (due to the pandemic) but they have good seating under natural tree shadows. Great nostalgic village feel close to the river. What this place stands for, it delivers 100%. Well done and thank you Khan for keeping it up over many decades !!!
