Perhaps we didn’t try their best dishes, but all that we tried were lacking in flavour. Beer was barely cold. There was nobody else eating there, perhaps a sign, and we were waiting at the door for many minutes before a member of staff came to find us a table.
We were brought here by our guide for having lunch. It was quite hot outside, but the air conditioner was not on. They switched on the fan only after asking. We were here at the middle of the day, and there were no other diners other than us. Food seemed okay to us, but we didn’t have a benchmark to compare it to hence the okay rating.
We were bought here by our guide because we wanted to try Bun Bo Hue in Hue. The restaurant was nice and AC was on. However, the Bun Bo Hue was a little disappointed. It doesn't have the red sate oil I was used to in San Diego. It doesn't have pork blood which I thought was a traditional ingredient. The broth was flavorful with good lemongrass flavor though. We also tried lemonade. It's fresh cause it took them a while to make it while the beer came out right away. The fried egg rolls we had was OK. The banana dessert cooked with coconut milk and coconut shaving was very sweet. Overall the restaurant was OK.
One of the best vegetarian places in Hue. Actually, we've been back for almost two years and it's one of my favorite places of all vegetarian places. Beautiful garden. I love all the food, but the Bun and Banh Canh have become a favorite drug.
Very nice ambience and delicious vegan food. Although not many choices in the menu, but whatever is available is really good and very cheap. Staff is very cooperative and knows English well
