Inn on the Gulf - Hudson

Restaurant with great food in a nice location. Friendly staff. Nice after dinner to go across street to sit by the water before heading back home.

We return to the Inn on the Gulf whenever we are in this part of Florida. Had an early dinner and sat outside on the deck. Always a good place to order a grouper sandwich or dinner. Food and service is great and the staff is always attentive to your needs.

The server was wonderful, and the food and wait time for the food were not so much. Ordered onion rings greasy and sent them back. Waited over 60 minutes for the main course. Very crowded and noisy this time. Apologies for the wait but that was it.

We have stayed at the Inn on the Gulf 3 times now. The inn itself is nothing to write home about it's dated but it is clean. We like to stay there to go to their restaurant which has such good food. This was the first time we were there in February and were surprised at the amount of people who were there enjoying beach, the sunsets, and the restaurant was packed each night. We were there just for a few days away and loved the food the scallops, shrimp basket, the cheese appetizer (I can't remember it's name but it was the bomb! Everything was delicious and we will definitely return when we need a seafood fix.

We enjoyed our lunch at the Inn. I had fish and chips which was wonderful. A very large piece of white fish. My husband had the steak which was good but cooked more than he ordered. Key lime pie was perfect
