Lulu's Yogurt With A Twist - Hudson

I was craving ice cream, but when I arrived at 8:01 PM, the shop was already closed. I’ve never encountered an ice cream store that shuts down at 8 PM during the summer. Luckily, Cold Stone was still open, so I headed over there and indulged in some delicious ice cream! If a shop pays its employees twenty dollars an hour and has two people working at a time, they only need to sell a handful of ice cream cups to cover those wages. The rent and fixed costs remain constant, after all.

I'm new to the area, so here are my thoughts on my visit yesterday. The location has a lovely atmosphere, but my experience inside was a bit odd. There was a young woman and a young man who seemed to be visiting, which didn't bother me, but the toppings needed to be restocked, and the floor was really dirty. It felt like a strange encounter, as if we weren’t welcome or were somewhat of a nuisance. Just to clarify, the staff member wasn't rude, but she did seem quite tired for a midday shift.

This place was wonderful! The yogurt flavors were delicious and definitely a step up from Menchies. It's a charming little spot in Hudson.

I love yogurt but this business requires customers to wear gloves to use the handles to get yogurt. Give me a break! I refuse to be a customer of a business that treats people like this. This is not China-it's America! People know how to wash their hands. We are each responsible for ourselves. The prices here are extremely expensive too-I paid $7 for a medium yogurt for myself.

Had lunch at flipside/red door and took a walk over ..so glad we did. Will definitely be back!
