Pizza Works - Hubbard

Whenever I have pizza here, there is always hot and crispy; especially the cheese! As far as vegetables are concerned, they should be cooked a little better. For customer service, the staff is always nice and friendly.

The pizza at this restaurant is fantastic and just as delicious as some of the more well-known pizza places in the Youngstown area.

This restaurant is definitely on the decline. I ordered 3 hot ham and cheese subs for delivery and received cold sandwiches instead. This is not the first time they have made mistakes with my order.

I drove 40 minutes to try this restaurant on a Friday night. We had checked online and called ahead, and both sources indicated that they were open until 10pm. However, when we arrived at 8:10pm, the door was locked. I called and the person who answered was very rude, informing me that they had closed early to train someone. There was no apology given. It was a waste of time and gas, especially with gas prices over $4/gallon.

I have been enjoying pizzas from the Hubbard location for years, but my favorite item for lunch is the Italian fold sandwich made with pizza dough. During my latest visit, I also tried the toasted Italian sub which was equally delicious. The sandwich came with a large, tasty pickle and a small bag of chips. Despite trying the sub, the fold sandwich remains my go-to lunch choice.
