The highlight of the food service at this restaurant (which changes its menu daily) is the tonpot hotpot. It's like a sukiyaki in a tonpot, where you can choose either pork, seafood, or a mix of both. The portion was generous, enough for three people even though it's meant for two. It came with a large piece of pork, shrimp, vegetables, and fish, which you cook in the hotpot and then dip in Thai seafood chili sauce. Delicious. However, the dish that truly stole our hearts was the crab omelette. It was crispy on the outside and filled with tasty crab meat. The aroma of the dish was enticing, and we couldn't wait to dig in. Our third dish was glass noodles with shrimp, recommended by many Chinese customers. The shrimp were fresh, but the glass noodles were average, stir-fried in ketchup. The bill came to 605 baht, including two fresh coconuts. A very affordable dinner. Just be prepared to wait if you arrive at 6 pm, and note that dinner service starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 7:30 pm.
The portions are huge and the flavors are fantastic. I was told the rice was a side dish, but it easily could have fed three people. The Son Yam soup was excellent, with a whole fish in it.
Quite a lot of a firm Thai restaurant, many option, massive coffee, solid eating. usually wait a bit, but unlike that it is a great one. would go back and recommend for everyone. Finally, there is enough English to order in English.
One of the best Thai food experience I ever had. Authentic flavours, great price, however it's extremely popular so you will need to wait for table, open for dinner 5:30pm to 7:30pm only, breakfast is great too, open from 6:30am with wide selection of food from street vendors and nice Vietnamese style coffee....
