J. B. Boondocks Grill

Delicious seafood. My husband and I have been living in the area for over 14 years and have just learned from this restaurant. We decided to try it for lunch. I know my seafood. If you are looking for fine food, this is not the place for you. It is what it is to be a local restaurant on the water (on Little Lake Harris) with boat docks and indoor and outdoor seats. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of seafood. We started diving with the Seafood Crab Artichoke with chips. Simply delicious with real crab and rich cream cheese served with tortilla chips. We then tried again the crabs bisque, real crabs, rich and creamy served with a fresh maize muffin. Then, the main course is a seafood plate. The crust on the seafood was excellent! Fish, softshell crab and shrimp all cooked to perfection, and sooo much food that we had to take some home. The cornuggets served with the meal were the best we had. Our server was attentive and very pleasant. We have absolutely no complaints. In fact, this Friday we are back with friends for their Friday fish fry!
