Sometimes you just want to try something other than the ubiquitous ramen places. Enter TaiOne Taiwanese noodles. I especially love the curry beef noodles and steamed shrimp and pork dumplings. As an added bonus, they sell Taiwanese bakery breads too.
Pretty good. Is there such a thing as too much flavor? Usually for me, not so but this place is someting else. Its like everything is broiled with soy sauce. Still, everything was delicious and the service was also fast.
What we ordered: beef brisket noodle, beef teppan, chicken steak, tong po pork, steamed fish w/ soybean crisp, oyster omelette, panfried pork dumplings, shrimp with egg fried rice, vegetable congee Loved the oyster omelette, the shrimp fried rice, tong po pork and the vegetable congee. The congee was supposedly for my mom who was watching her salt intake, but it was so delicious that we ordered another bowl for sharing. The beef brisket noodle had a slightly sweet flavor that was off-putting. I like my beef noodle soup savory, not sweet. The chicken steak was so-so. I was the only one who liked the steamed fish. The brewed coffee was amazing. Overall, good flavors, good value, will definitely go back!
I liked everything they served and the authenticity of their Hofan dish. I still want to go back and try their other dishes. I just wished their venue would have more space.
