Whataburger - Houston

I'm used to them occasionally forgetting something, so I always check the bags. I love the food! However, how can you forget the cheese on chili CHEESE fries? It’s right in the name!

An incredibly clean Whataburger! It’s quite impressive to see an employee on their hands and knees cleaning the baseboards! The food was good, too!

I was feeling quite frustrated when I visited this restaurant, primarily because I was hungry. After a long wait for our food, I finally received my patty melt, but it was disappointing. The grilled onions I expected were there, but the bread was flattened and unappetizing. This was meant to be Texas toast, yet it looked anything but. My husband had requested and paid extra for grilled onions, but they were missing from his dish. To top it off, our onion rings were burnt, which might explain the long wait. My Coke tasted strange, almost like they started with a different flavored soda and then added regular Coke—it had an odd aftertaste. Overall, everything I tried was unappetizing, and I did not enjoy my meal at all.

Im not sure about the negative reviews here, but this is among the best Whataburgers in Houston area. Yes, the staff will take their time making your meals which may result in 10 minute waits, but its worth it because everything comes out very fresh andon point as you ordered. My only complaint is something that they can't control and that was getting rid of the New SouthernBacon Chicken Sandwiches which were my FAVORITE thing to order this year

Karen the black women who works the counter in the morning shift really gave me a hard time about getting a cup of ice even though I had a whataburger cup. It's was over 80 degrees at 7:45 in the morning and I just wanted to cool down. She acted likeshe paid for the ice or me getting a cup of ice was coming out of her paycheck. Food cost comes out of the General Manager bonusat the end of the year. My good friend worked for whataburger for 16 years and I have worked for him and know about his bonus' at the end of the year and what comes outta them.
