Tio Chucho Dos - Houston

Seeing a lot of negative comments on NEXTDOOR and practices that restaurant is doing with credit card transactions. Honestly I've never been to this location, but too many folks are claiming issues with additional charges being reflected by this specific operator. Beware!!!

They impose an extra fee if you pay with a credit card. The food is processed as a separate transaction, and the tip and surcharge are handled separately as well. The attorney general has stated that this practice is illegal. If you decide to visit, I recommend paying in cash only. I will no longer be supporting this establishment.

We did not stay due to poor service. There was no one at the front to assist us, and we were left waiting without any information. After 30 minutes with no one attending to us, we decided to leave. I will never return to this restaurant.

I love coming here. The margaritas are the bomb.. recommend the stuff alvacado..

For my taste, the decoration of the place is very unpleasant, I hate toads and frogs and it is a place where everywhere you turn there are those very unpleasant plaster animals with warts on their backs. I didn't like the food very much. The fajita is so-so. The rice was our turn. Very salty, the guacamole didn't have much flavor either, the sauces are not spicy, they are like vegetable sauces, if you like spicy you won't find spicy sauces there. I ordered fajita charcoal tacos, it didn't have any charcoal, it's the same as the fajita dish that my husband ordered, the waiters were very polite and friendly, the place is nice, ignoring the toads, of course, people who don't like those types of animals They are not going to be comfortable there if there are countless of those types of decorations, my husband and I wanted to live that place and we were not very convinced but it is my opinion. Parking: There is a lot of space, especially in front of the place.
