I understand that many people enjoy this restaurant, but it's just an okay choice for me. It feels like a pricier version of La Madeleine. The decor resembles more of a diner than a French café. I noticed an advertisement near the register showcasing some desserts I might try on my next visit. The menu is straightforward and easy to navigate. I saw some sandwiches and soups that looked appealing as they were served to other patrons. Unlike La Madeleine, you have to order at the counter and often pick up your food yourself. I would give the presentation a B. The monogrammed plates added a nice touch. My omelette was well-cooked and didn’t arrive with a runny consistency, which is definitely a plus. The waffle was perfectly golden brown, and the syrup, berries, and whipped cream created a lovely balance of sweet and hearty flavors. This place could serve as an alternative for your weekend breakfast outings—not a regular stop, but a good option when your usual spot is busy.

The decor is charming, and the music is soft enough to allow for easy conversation. It's lovely to see so many older couples enjoying breakfast here; the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. The service is quick and efficient, and the staff are friendly. The food is delicious, although portion sizes can vary. Definitely try the pancakes—they're a fantastic value for the price, huge, soft, and fluffy without being overly sweet. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience!

I've been visiting the French House for decades, and I absolutely love their cookies! I always feel at home when I'm here. Whenever I have visitors from the city, the French House is always one of our must-visit stops.

Excellent breakfast. Giant pancakes weere devine. Scrambled eggs and sausage were superb. Bacon and egg croissant was excellent. Great iced tea with big freah lemons. Coffee was good as. The owners are always there and take pride in their food quality and great service.
