Bread on Torta was not roasted, so it got super soggy and rough. Ordnet chips and salsa, got a teenage bit of salsa. Salsa was mediocre at best. French fries were soggy. I wouldn't come back. Taquerias Arandas is much better quality and value and there is one above the street.
Went to this restaurant on a Sunday with a party of 3. They had 1 table available , but they wouldn't allow us to sit there because they had a minimum of 5 people for that table which seems greedy in my opinion. Especially because they had a full house. We instead went to gorditas aguascslientes much better restaurant.
Service was great! The place is clean. Good chips and salsa, but the food was OK. I can tell if a Mexican restaurant is good by the cheese enchiladas w/chili gravy cheese this place didn't pass. Refried beans I would rate a 2. Kind of pricey also!
Five of us came here for a late breakfast. Very friendly staff and clean cafe. It was our first visit. We each had different dishes. I had Huevos Con Fajita. Man was this awesome! Three eggs, refried beans, potatoes fajita steak and stuffed pepper with cheese. Plus, very hot homemade corn tortillas. The server took our order quickly and the food came out in a timely manner. Everyone at the table said their food was equally as good. I will be back if ever in the area again. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
When visiting Houston, we looked for a good breakfast/brunch place and decided we 'd like to try the Mexican fare first. In studying local menus, Teotihuacan seemed to offer the most options at good prices. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the dining area was clean and comfortable. I decided on my favorite dish of Huevos con Chorizo, which came with potatoes, refried (or charro, your choice) beans, a pablano Chihuahua cheese tamale. The dishes come with a couple of salsas one standard roasted 'red ' and another avocado based). I also got a side of two pancakes. Everything was as delicious as expected. The eggs were scrambled a bit more well done than I prefer, but that 's my mistake for not requesting otherwise. And they were abundant with chorizo. The potatoes and the beans were perfectly seasoned, and the tamale was great too, especially when drizzled with the roasted red salsa. I failed to mention the wonderful fresh griddled corn tortillas that were included with the plate. Once I started into the tasty pancakes, I ordered the Mexican hot chocolate that makes me want to go back for more. So good!
