Papa Yu - Houston

We ordered the Papa Special Roll and customized our own Poke bowl. The roll was outstanding—its flavors were exquisite and it was truly delicious. The Poke bowl was good too, but we found the portions for each protein, topping, and sauce to be a bit small, which meant the flavors didn't stand out as much. On the plus side, the service was fantastic; all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during our visit.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The service was friendly, and the music added a fun vibe. The food was fantastic! We tried the fried pork dumplings, which were awesome and packed with juicy pork. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy, and the Cali roll was great as well. The diamond roll, which contains shrimp and crab, was outstanding. We'll definitely be coming back!

The food is amazing! I live in Oklahoma, and I really wish there was a place like this back home. When I returned to Houston, the first thing I wanted to do was come here. The drinks, noodles, and sushi are all so delicious—absolutely mouth-watering! Rating: 5/5.

I've been intrigued by this establishment every time we pass by it, so I finally decided to give it a try. As a regular visitor to various poke places, I typically order a build-your-own poke bowl without any issues. Unfortunately, I must express my disappointment as the poke bowl I received from this place was far from satisfying. It lacked flavor and the tuna was excessively chopped, resulting in a texture that resembled more of a paste than fresh fish. I'm perplexed as to how this place has managed to maintain a 4.5-star rating, as this experience fell short of my expectations.

I thought the food here was just okay. Nothing spectacular to make a drive out for. The prices are affordable and I guess that's their selling point. I probably won't be returning here since everything I tried was so-so. We tried a few of their sushi and ramen, and I wasn't let down nor impressed. Great decor inside the restaurant, though. They did a minimalistic approach in the inside, which looked cool.
