Nordstrom Ebar Artisan Coffee - Houston

I really enjoy having lunch at Nordstrom, but my most recent experience wasn't great. The service was quite slow and the staff seemed inattentive. They might have been lacking sufficient staff.

The Caesar salad with shrimp was outstanding, and the ambiance was great as well.

My fries were cold and the coleslaw didn't look appetizing, so I didn't touch it. I was really disappointed with my entrée. However, my husband enjoyed his dish. This is not what we typically expect from Nordstrom’s Basille.

Always grateful that we have a bistro in Nordstrom! Food is delicious and they have many healthy choices too. The waitstaff is always attentive and helpful. It is definitely the best food at the Galleria!

The gnocchi were absolutely gross. The chef should visit Piola to learn how to make the sauce (other than North Italia or Giacomos). There must have been at least a full scoop of salt in the sauce on the plate. The waiter charged a service fee for a party of 3. That is not a customary practice in town therefore totally unacceptable.
