Rice was not as good as pad thai but was better than what I tried earlier. One star less just for the quantity as for the price, the quantity was very very less. $17 for a small quantity of fried rice seems way overpriced to me.
This was an absolute hidden gem. I'm always downtown and have never actually seen this place, I pass it all the time! Glad I got to try it because everything about it was wonderful. Our server was super nice and attentive. The place was clean and elegant and had so much character. The food was delicious and fresh with hearty portions. I'd love to come back and explore more of their menu. I'm interested to try the boba drinks or mango sticky rice dessert next time. This is also a great date spot because it's quaint and quiet no loud noises and nice ambiance.
Some of the best Thai food in Houston super friendly service. The green curry was amazing. The bamboo was soft cooked to perfection.
First and foremost, the location of this restaurant is truly remarkable. Situated in the midst of the bustling downtown area, it manages to provide a peaceful and serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The moment I entered, I was greeted by a soothing atmosphere, with tasteful decor and soft lighting that added to the overall ambiance. The service at this restaurant is nothing short of excellent. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was exceptional, providing recommendations and accommodating any dietary preferences or allergies. Their genuine warmth and professionalism added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the Thai cuisine. Every dish that graced my table was a masterpiece of flavors. From the aromatic curries to the perfectly balanced stir-fries, each dish showcased the authentic and vibrant flavors of Thai cuisine. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was impeccable. Whether you're a fan of spicy delights or prefer milder flavors, this restaurant offers a wide range of options to suit every palate.
I would recommend this place if you are looking for good thai food in downtown Houston. The server was friendly, food came out quick. I recommend the cheese puffs, very light and delicious. $22 for a small bowl of beef curry seemed a little on the expensive side but the flavors were there. The cafe is small and has a cozy elegant feel to it, yet very casual and welcoming.
