Mellow Mushroom - Houston

Came on a Friday afternoon. the service was fast. I ordered a standard large sausage and pfeffer chocolate. I order the pizza in 17 minutes. the crust was a little too thick for my taste, although they have a thin crust option, I wanted to see how their standard pizza was. not enough pizza sauce on it, again something I'm sure could be changed on request. the pizza was good, but there was a little taste. the location is super clean but and seems to attract a trendy amount. full bar available, I am sure it is illuminated in the evening hours. in any case worth a try. paper straws are not given plastic what I thought was pretty cool. In summary, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is great and trendy, but the pizza is not much too brag.

This restaurant is amazing! I really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Candice was our server and she was fantastic. Dominique made our salads, and the homemade vinaigrette was delicious. We stayed until closing time and they didn't rush us out. The service here is seriously top-notch, I highly recommend this place!

What a wonderful experience, which is hard to come by these days. The prices are reasonable, the waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing. The highlight of our experience was definitely the service, even though our server informed us about the wait time for pizzas. Thanks to this helpful advice, my daughter and I first ordered our pizzas and then, when she returned, we ordered our appetizers and a beer for me. It was excellent.

Thank you for offering vegan options! The pizza was delicious, and I loved how the vegan cheese melted and tasted. The crust and toppings were also fantastic.
